House of Travel Havelock North has been temporarily redubbed ‘House of Art’, doubling as a pop-up gallery for local artists. With pottery, modern and contemporary art for sale, there is something for every taste and while you’re browsing, the House of Travel team will still be on hand to help you book a domestic holiday if it takes your fancy.
Jenny and her House of Travel team will still be instore every day, ready to help customers book their Holidays@Home. The space will serve as both a gallery and a shop front, opening up the opportunity for customers to see beautiful artworks in person, and creating another avenue for artists to sell to art-lovers.
Artists include renowned potter Bruce Martin, sculptor and artist Glen Colechin, potter Kim Morgan, ceramicist Mandy Olsen and painter Carol Coombe, among others. House of Art will also be offering commissionable pieces to help lovers of art to find exactly what they’re looking for.
House of Art is open 8.30am-4.30pm week days and 10.00am-2.00pm on Saturdays at Shop 5, Village Court, Havelock North.
