Havelock North Volunteer Fire Brigade

Today the Brigade has an establishment of 30. Fire calls are in excess of 200 of all types. The Hawke’s Bay summer sees grass and herbage fires to the fore with the greater use of private fire alarms and a significant number of retirement villages being factors contributing to call numbers.

The Brigade is active in safety promotions, which consist of school visits, smoke alarm promotions and any initiative that will assist in the reduction of fire and road crash incidents.
